And no it's not part of a costume for Halloween - believe me the guys and work had their fun calling me "goth girl" - howevere it's growing on everyone and I have gotten a lot of compliments! I just like to mix thing up every once and a while (= So here's a pic....Which one is Kristy??

Also since I have been spending WAY too much time at work I thought I would make a tribute and show you where I spend most of my time...in my oh so beautiful cube...aint she a beauty??

Holey Cow!

It's been forever since I posted last! I can't believe tomorrow is October - I guess when your really busy time seems to just slip away! Kyle is doing great in Kindergarten (the pic is of him working so hard on his homework!) - I never knew kindergartners have so much homework though!!- he is excelling at Math (which he for sure did not get from me! haha) and he is learning to read and spell! He knows reading words such as A , The , My, I, Like - he can spell words such as you, boat, cow, etc. His teacher says he's very "spirited" which pretty much means he is extremely outgoing in class! He's always been a class clown and continues to like to entertain the class - we are working on when is appropriate to entertain and when it's not! Not sure where this "spirited" child came from - I know his dad and I were pretty shy as children! He's also doing AWESOME in swimmming - and can swim 25 yards freestyle and backstroke!! WOOHOO Might have a little Michael Phelps on our hands!

I'm doing well and working LONG hours at Infusionsoft! When I started a few years ago the sales team was 4 people and now we have 30! It's been so amazing to see the company grow and all the changes taking place! Our team is amazing - we have each others backs at all times - and all of us have formed some really great friend ships and bonds. I never new how 30 people could be so tight! I'm up for a promotion soon so I have been busy preparing to take on some new roles and challenges.

To balance things out I have been playing a kickball and softball team - going out with girlfriends and a few dates here and there. I've also really been enjoying watching football lately - Love those COWBOYS - Tony Romo may be the cause of my new found love of football! haha! And of course those Sundevils (ASU) I actually found myself yelling at the TV watching the Redskins play the Cowboys last Sunday - haha How crazy is that??? I'm also excited because Kyle and I will be headed to my sisters new house in Lake Oswego, Oregon for Christmas! It will be great to see the family and play in the snow!

Ok I better get back to work.... I'll post pics soon!

Time for the "Big School"!

Hope all is well - things in AZ are hot as ever!! Kyle had his first day of kindergarten last week! He was very excited to go to the "big school"! He is so social he just walked right in and he was fine! I was suprised - I thought I might be a little teary but I was more excited than anything! I was so excited that he would be in a new and exciting class room. (= The only bad thing is that I bought Ky some new school shoes and he got horrible blisters and the nurse called and I had to bring him some other shoes - he's so used to flip flops and crocks he was not used to closed in shoes! Poor little guy! He now has some very fancy nikes so he's good to go! Kyle also now has a very loose front tooth!! This will be his 3rd tooth already!

A lot of things have been happening in my life..Zack and I are no longer together. It's very sad as I loved him very much - however we were going different ways. I'm picking up the pieces and moving forward - I hope to someday get married and have more children. Although I wish I could control the future I know it's in Gods hands and he already has a plan for me (= ! It sure is an interesting plan because it sure does keep me on my toes! Never a dull moment in the life of Kristy!!

Work friends!

Not bad looking for a bunch of Infusion Software Geeks!!!Here are some of my closest friends from Infusion (=

New things and cute things...

I have been spoiled this past week (= ............
Recently Zack became a full time entrepreneur running his own lighting and sound company so he had to say goodbye to his work truck - so that left us with one car. The Avalanch was not cutting it - 11 miles to the gallon - ack! I felt like I was at the gas station every day! So we decided it was time for my own car - I ended up buying a Hyundai Santa Fe yesterday! (= It's so cute and fun to drive (look's just like the one in the picture above)!
Also, Zack gave me my birthday present early - a new cell phone - the Blackberry Pearl! I love it - now I can get all my emails on my phone and access the web. Very cool!
The cute things in this blog of course pertain to Kyle! He always cracks me up...yesterday while at the pool he said REALLY loudly in front of a group of people.. ( First - picture Kyle standing on the side of the pool about to dive in squeezing his "cleavege" together as hard as he can)

"Hey MAMA! LOOK my boobs are REALLY REALLY REALLY small and your boobs are BIG!"

Gotta love kids!

Another cute thing he does is the way he says "orange" - he called it "orangy" - thinking he needs to pronounce the "e"! A few weeks back he kept on telling me he wanted "orangey crocks" - I finally figured it out - now he has BRIGHT orangey crocks - too cute!

Hope all is well...we have a fun weekend planned (= My friend Kelie and I are having a dual B-Day Party at Saddle Ranch - country bar/restaurant - So far about 40 people are coming - CRAZY!!! The awesome thing is that her hubby does the marketing for them and we are getting a smokin deal! I just might even ride the bull!!!!! YEEEEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

I have this strange feeling that 33 is going to be a really good year.......I'm excited to leave 32 behind........

San Diego....love love love it!

Zack and I headed to San Diego for the 4th! It was really fun! REALLY REALLY fun - note to self NEVER to drink like I'm 21 again! The first day we were a little OVER excited to be at the beautiful ocean...it just so happened that one of my fav new bands (Ozomatli) was playing one the beach so Zack bought tickets! How perfect is that?! And also one of my good friends Katie had just moved to Ocean Beach after a rough divorice so even more reason to celebrate...So we indulged in that fun a bit too much so on the 4th I basically thought I was going to die! Note to self again to NEVER drink like you are 21 when you are 32! The rest of the trip was mellow....watched fireworks...went to sushi....rented beach cruisers are rode up and down the beach....ran into some friends...ran into more friends...I swear our social circle extends the universe...everywhere we go we run into great friends...thats a great thing..very thankful for that (=! I love my life...I love San Diego...I have to combine the two someday and move there....

Below are some pics (= I have been using my new beautiful Cannon Rebel XL HOLLA - love it like it way my child! Hopefully you will be able to tell my new camera skills...( and yes that one picture is of an Oyster Shot - oyster, quail egg, saki, smelt roe, saratcha chilie....uggg puke the most sick thing ever!)

It's getting hot in here....

Even though I've lived in the desert for some time now I am still shocked when I drive by the local bank and look at their temp/clock and see that it reads 122 degrees!! The local news said it was 115 this weekend and the bank read 122 - all I know is that it's REALLY hot!
I have been getting a lot grumbeling about how I need to post more pictures since I have that new fab camera!! I will I promise!! I just need to figure out how to download the pics off of it!! haha! Within the next few days I promise!!
We have been staying very busy this last week with bbq'ing, pool time, haircuts for the dog and Kyle, seeing the movie KungFu Panda, playing the occasional game of Rock Band, swim lessons - Kyle moved up a level and is doing awesome - he can dive for rings and do big arms and as long as he can touch the bottom of the pool hes fine - he officially announced that he does not want to play soccer anymore - he wants to swim - and I don't blame him in this heat! Kyle also recently had a bout of tonsilitis and is feeling much better now! It was strange because he was acting totally fine except he woke up one morning and he looked like he had golf balls under his ears on either side of his neck! It scared the heck out of me - Kyle laughed and though he looked like Franenstein. While we were at the Dr. he got weighed and measured - he's 48 pounds and 4 feet! The charts say he will be 6 foot 6 but the time he's 18!! So weird to think he may be towering over me as a teenager! We are planning to take Kyle camping soon - he loves it so much - ans he calls the "tent" the "tenant" - too cute!

Zack and I are headed to San Diego (Pacific Beach) for July 3 - July 6th - then to Temecula (wine country)! I am sooooo excited to go to Wilson Creek Winery for their almonde champagne!! YUMI! We are really excited - we have done this trip before and had a blast!! The hotel we are staying in is AWESOME - it's called Tower 23 and right on the beach (check it out at www.tower23.com) ! We have some friends that will be down there at the same time so we will be able to meet up with them which will be great! It will be a weekend of longboarding, spa treatments, good food...whats better than that?

That's it for now...I'll post pics soon..and lot's of them!

This is our now!

"Change is building an economy that rewards not just wealth, but the work and workers who created it. It's understanding that the struggles facing working families can't be solved by spending billions of dollars on more tax breaks for big corporations and wealthy CEOs, but by giving a the middle-class a tax break, and investing in our crumbling infrastructure, and transforming how we use energy, and improving our schools, and renewing our commitment to science and innovation. It's understanding that fiscal responsibility and shared prosperity can go hand-in-hand.... America, this is our moment. This is our time. Our time to turn the page on the policies of the past. Our time to bring new energy and new ideas to the challenges we face. Our time to offer a new direction for the country we love. The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals."

Vegas Baby!

Last weekend I took some time off and headed over to Las Vegas with the girls!! Party time!! It a weekend full of awesome food - laying out pool side - drinks - and more drinks - and of course hitting the clubs to dance our little buns off! We stayed at the Luxor - which was great - the elevators there go sideways and totally throw off your equalibrium! We also hit club LAX, Revolution, and Cathouse. The DJ at LAX was AMAZING and had the whole place dancing the night away!

We even attended the Thunder Down Under - a male review show which was halarious and totally worth the $58 a ticket!! One of the best finds was a restaurant called Diablos - a mexican themed cantina on the strip. It was a blast! Whenever I hang with my girls we are always laughing non-stop and have the best time! We had such a great time we have already planned a Vegas trip for April 2009!

Conversations with Kyle....

Recently our HOA has decided to place big bolders all around our neighbrhood to make it look even more "Arizonaish" (another example of how lame our HOA is and how they spend our money on redicilous things such as big boulders)...Anyhow enough of me bitching about the HOA....Have I ever mentioned that I have TWO HOA's? Who has TWO HOA's?! Ok ok ok I'll stop....this entry is about Kyle not our HOA - I'll have to write and tell you stories about them sometime!

OK SO on to bigger and better stuff - Kyle and I were driving home from school the other day and he noticed all the big boulders..

Kyle: MAMA look at all the big rocks!!!

Kristy: Yes - look at them all - Do you like them?

Kyle: Ya - It must be Earth Day!

Kristy: Why do you think it's Earth Day?

Kyle: Because all these big rocks fell down from the heavens...

Awww how cute is that! Maybe these big rocks are'nt so bad after all - they make my son say cute things - so maybe they will grow on me....

Hallelujah...Hallelujah

I am soooo happy oh so happy! Some of you know - others may not - however I am so excited to announce that I won an award at work for highest volume of sales! For my award I was offered a wii or an iphone - however with my masterful selling skills I sold the idea of a new Canon Digital Rebel XT to my manager - I already have an xbox and a decent phone - so I thoght I would try the camera I have been dreaming of and almost purchased multiple time but always got too scared due to the price! Anyhow today at work I got to pick it up and it's soooo beautiful and even more beautiful that it was free for me!! Here is a picture of my new baby - Isn't he a looker!!!
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!
